Tinnitus treatment research indicates, masking or sound therapy still plays an important role in helping patients overcome the difficulties associated with tinnitus. Masking is still used at many tinnitus treatment clinics around the world and it has been consistently proven to be 80% effective.

The CalMind Tinnitus Treatment CD, unlike any other similar tinnitus treatments available today, is a customized management tool. All the sound signals contained in CalMind can be individually made for each patient based on their tinnitus diagnostic results. As part of our integrated approach to managing tinnitus, CalMind is digitally processed by TinniTest, our innovative diagnostic and management instrument so that each patient can listen to the prescribed sounds and achieve the maximum benefits.

Also different from other CDs, the CalMind Tinnitus Treatment CD is tamper proof with our proprietary technologies. One cannot rewrite the sound prescriptions without permission, thus ensuing our patients can always receive the consistent treatment from CalMind.

The scope of application:

CalMind Tinnitus Treatment CD is suitable for all tinnitus patients identified to have no complications similar to hyperacousis and psychological disorders. CalMind Tinnitus Treatment CD has proven to be effective in helping the following patients：

• Tinnitus with unknown etiologies
• Tinnitus with known etiologies but can’t be cured
• Intermittent tinnitus
• Stress caused by chronic tinnitus

CalMind CD

There are two types of CalMind CD: Customized CalMind CD and Standard CalMind CD

1. Customized CalMind CD

The customized CalMind contains a group of individually made sound signals for the patient. Usually, those sounds can be digitally transferred from TinniTest.

2. Standard CalMind CD

The standard CalMind CD contains 21 primary sound signals that have been frequently used and also proven to be effective. The CD consists of signals with a frequency range from 250 to 6000Hz, able to satisfy the needs of all types of patients. This CD intends to be used only for those patients who cannot receive services provided by TinniTest.

Use Instructions

1. Please choose the corresponding sound track based on your physician or audiologist’s prescription for this masking therapy. Please follow the treatment sessions and all use guidance;
2. Gradually tune the volume control until the sound can just mask your tinnitus while wearing the earphones. Do not tune the volume excessively to avoid making you uncomfortable.
3. Try to relax while the masking therapy is operating.
4. Set the replay key after the appropriate signal is identified in the CD player.
5. Make a note of the earphones for each ear and wear them properly.
