Micro-DSP Launched More iPhone Apps

Chengdu, China/Canada: Micro-DSP Technology announced that two more iPhone apps have been released: TinniTest, tinnitus assessment software, and Fluency Exam, stuttering evaluation software. The two apps have covered the core technologies of Micro-DSP and are believed to further strengthen the leading position in the provision of products and services of human communication disorders.

TinniTest software is a smart phone version of the revolutionary tinnitus diagnostic instrument, TinniTest Audiologic System. The iPhone app can be used by either a professional or an individual to assess different parameters of tinnitus. The user can conduct pitch and loudness match at any time. The results can be stored in the iPhone and retrieved later for management and validation of any treatment.

Fluency Exam is stuttering assessment software which allows a speech pathologist or user to analyze the fluency of speech. The percentage of fluency and disfluency can be instantly calculated while a scale of naturalness can also be assessed based upon the exams. Also, all testing results are stored and can be pulled out for further analysis. Mr. Charles Fu, Chief Software Designer and CEO of Micro-DSP, explained that the retrieval of the testing results can bused for monitoring the progress of any type of treatment as well as for the dynamic identification of one’s disfluency problems from a long-term stand of point.

Once again, the new apps have further demonstrated the innovation and vision of Micro-DSP in the development of digital applications for the management of communication disorders. Along with the fast business expansion in tinnitus, speech and hearing management, Micro-DSP has also moved into the arena of the creation of smart phone applications.
